The beginning of the year 2023 had started well for the videographer Raphaël Carlier alias Carlito, with the arrival of his third son. However, the joy was short-lived for him and his wife Erika Fleury. The couple quickly faced difficulties with their baby.

The youngest must in particular undergo surgery at the end of April. But to his greatest regret, they still lack equipment, which cannot be found either at the hospital or at the pharmacy. Eventually, after logging out of most of his social media, McFly’s sidekick reactivated his Instagram account to ask for help.
He shared a photo of a rare rectal probe, which they need to administer enemas to their baby. Carlito took advantage of this moment to express his frustration with the state of the health system in France.

His post went viral. And thanks to the countless shares made by Internet users, he was finally able to get what his baby needed. Grateful, he expressed his gratitude to those who relayed his message. He particularly thanked the nurses at Trousseau Hospital who helped him find the rare rectal probe.

A break is needed
March 2023 was far from easy for Carlito. Apart from announcing on her Instagram account that her baby, aged one and a half months, knew of « sacred complications » and was hospitalizedthe videographer also had to coping with burnout that he hadn’t seen coming.
« It’s not kidding anymore but it will be kidding again soon in the freest of ways. Above all, take care of yourself,” he said.
So, for the sake of priorities, he decided to disconnect from social networks. However, he insisted on reassure his fans affirming that he will return « in the freest way ». This announcement follows a decision made with his sidekick McFly. The two friends notably indicated that they “put their duo on hiatus » For an undetermined time.
“We decided to take a break from YouTube videos, they explain. It’s been several months since the race for hyper-produced videos, for guests, for concepts, which we loved and practiced so much, no longer has the same taste because it has become the norm.
