Since the end of 2022, Yanis Marshall has gained a lot of notoriety. If the latter has already proven himself in the world of dance since the beginning of the 2000s, his career has taken a new turn. If he started as a dancer, he was also able to become a choreographer. And thanks to that, he was able to land the role of dance teacher in the Star Academy. So, this Saturday, April 8, the young talented choreographer and dancer was able to go to TPMP People. Hosted by Matthieu Delormeau, this program is dedicated to personalities. Yanis Marshall, great encounters

Since her debut, Yanis Marshall has never hidden her admiration for the singer Madonna. Moreover, he even admits that without her, he would not be there. And throughout his career, he was able to meet some great stars. Thus, he was able to be invited to the TPMP People program hosted by Matthieu Delormeau to talk about his career. It must be said that the young man was able to work with Celine Dion, Jennifer and many others. After talking about that, he also got to talk about his idol, Madonna.

But while Yanis Marshall speaks with passion of the latter, Cyril Hanouna all the same recalls that the latter encounters concerns. Indeed, Madonna would have problems with drugs which could largely compromise her return on stage and on tour. But the choreographer does not lose hope. He even admits:

“I believe in his tour. I think it’s not his first”.

But quickly, Matthieu Delormeau cut him off.

“She was twenty years younger and she was not on drugs”.

Something to annoy the big fan.

“Ouch, ouch, ouch, we’re not going to get along! I take it so personally”.

Following which he adds that he really believes that the latter will be able to go back on stage.

A respect for his idol

At only 15 years old, Yanis Marshall was able to gain recognition as a dancer. And quickly, he was able to integrate various musicals directed by Kamel Ouali. He was notably part of the Sun Kingbut also Dix Commandments. But if he knew this attraction for dance so early, this is due precisely to his idol Madonna. It remains the latter that made him want to pursue a career in this field. That’s why he had already been able to say that without her, he wouldn’t be here.

After participating in the two successful musicals, Yanis Marshall was also able to share a video on YouTube. In the latter, he repeated many choreographies, but in stiletto heels. Enough to allow it to quickly accumulate millions of views. So, now that he has succeeded in his career, he does not miss an opportunity to pay tribute to his idol. This could also be seen in the Star Academy and in particular the final.

Indeed, during the Star Academy final where Anisha ended up winning the show, he paid a tribute to Madonna. He decided to wear an outfit consisting of a bustier with a red bra alluding to that of Jean-Paul Gaultier for Madonna. What largely surprise the public who understood the allusion. On the set of TPMP People, he even adds:

“I won’t be who I am without Madonna. I grew up ahead. The first time I saw two men kissing was in “In bed with Madonna”. I said to my mother: ‘You’ll see when I grow up, I’m going to do that’”.
