And of course, France is one of them. who represents the country in « Top Chef World All Stars » is not unknown since it is already famous in the world of French gastronomy. This is Samuel Albertwhich won the 10th season of “French Top Chef”.

The 30-year-old spoke about the competition in which he is currently participating. According to Samuel Albert, if he was selected to represent France in this competition, it is thanks to his « journey in Top Chef ».

“I also think that the international side of the cuisine that I do in my restaurant (…) could have worked in my favor,” he said.

Note that Samuel Albert is the head of the restaurant « The Little Meadows ». In the establishment, as we have seen on its website, it offers « a fusion cuisine between Europe, Asia and America ».

How will the competition go?

During his interview with Alouette, Samuel Albert also gave more explanations concerning the progress of « Top Chef World All Stars ».

According to him, this international cooking competition will be  » very different «  of the French competition. For good reason, it will be above all “more focused on the reality TV side and everyday family cooking”. But in France, the program mainly highlights gastronomy, precision and the “starred chef”.

On the other hand, even if this is an American competition, Samuel Albert finds that the French version is more complicated.

« The level is much higher and the chefs who are opposite are double or triple starred chefs, » he said.

Thus, Samuel Albert says that it is much more difficult to be judged by these leaders than by public figures of reality TV.

His goal in “Top Chef World All Stars”

Although Samuel Albert finds the American version to be less complicated than the Frenchthe chef does not neglect the international competition.

Of course, by participating in this program, he has a goal in mind. As he confided to Alouette, Samuel Albert participated in this competition in order to talk about his cuisine, his city (Angers) as well as the Pays de la Loire region.

However, the chef reassures that he has no intention of opening a culinary establishment in the city of New York.

« I’m very happy where I am and my restaurant is doing very well, » he said.

If Samuel Albert agreed to represent his country in this competition, it is also because he is quite simply « competitor ». It is moreover this competitive spirit, according to him, that pushed him to participate in « Top Chef World Stars » and not because he wants to achieve a certain notoriety.
