Recently, the production of the show Ninja Warrior was able to confide in our colleagues from Télé Loisirs. Indeed, the latter revealed that the two hosts of the show had imagined something to spice up the next season.. However, the course already seems very difficult for many candidates. Ninja Warrior, the new season

It’s been nearly a week since filming for the new season of Ninja Warrior began. For the latter, the candidates will aim to dethrone Charles Pujade, the last standing of the previous season. Thus, many candidates have already been able to start the new season in Cannes. And to set up the course, it took nearly eleven days to set up the giant metal structure which is nearly 25 meters high with the famous tower. To climb the course, it took nearly 40 semi-trailers and 12 technicians.

And for this new season of Ninja Warrior, it remains close to 4,000 candidates who came to try their luck on the show. But alone 250 of them were selected to participate six days of shooting. The producer of the show Déborah Nahon explains:

A frustrating season

Ninja Warrior’s final season finale premiered on February 11. The opportunity for viewers to see who won the last season. There was already the darling of the fans of the show Jean Tezenas de Montiel who unfortunately lost before even doing the Tour des Héros. And finally, the victory of Charles Poujade. But despite this victory, the latter seems a little bitter. It turns out that he set an exceptional time with 27 seconds and 67 hundredths.

But he failed to beat Clément Gravier and his 25 seconds and 16 hundredths. Because of this, he therefore did not win the 100,000 euros. He therefore intends to return for the next season of Ninja Warrior in order to take his revenge and seek to beat the record this time and have the 100,000 euros.

“It’s non-negotiable on my side.” he assured.

A surprise for the new season?

But, for this eighth season of Ninja Warrior, it seems that there will be something new. Indeed, the show’s production seemed to confirm that the hosts had a new idea. The trio Denis Brogniart, Christophe Beaugrand and Iris Mittenaere still remain in their posts. But if the two presenters watch the course from above to better see what the candidates are doing, the former beauty queen seems closer to the candidates. Indeed, the latter is with the relatives of the candidate in order to better encourage him. She also has the role of taking testimonials from the candidates before and after the test to get their impressions.

But for the new season of Ninja Warrior, there will be something new. The production of the show says:

“As with all our strong brands, we are always looking to renew ourselves”.

She also adds to our colleagues from Télé Loisirs that:

“For this eighth season of Ninja Warrior, we have decided to create surprises with some new features. Especially in animation, where Christophe Beaugrand and Iris Mittenaere had fun swapping roles for two qualifying shows out of the six shows recorded this season.”.

It remains to be seen whether they will manage their new positions as well.
