Anche con più di un anno di puro 5G in Brasile e più di due anni di rete di quinta generazione meno veloce tra noi, i brasiliani praticamente non mostrano alcun interesse per la novità. Lo rileva un sondaggio effettuato dal portale Tempo mobiledove solo il 4% dei brasiliani tiene conto di questo tipo di tecnologia quando acquista un nuovo cellulare.

Il 5G è disponibile in Brasile da luglio 2020 nel modello DSS, che è solo un 4G migliorato e utilizza addirittura la stessa struttura della generazione precedente, mentre la vera modalità pura ha festeggiato il suo primo anno nelle ultime settimane. Anche così, quasi nessuno se ne preoccupa.

Secondo la ricerca di Mobile Time, l’elenco delle priorità nella scelta di un nuovo telefono cellulare è:

1. Capacità di elaborazione: nel 33% delle risposte
2. Memoria: nel 30% delle risposte
3. qualità della fotocamera: nel 14% delle risposte
4. Durata della batteria: nel 14% delle risposte
5. 5G: nel 4% delle risposte
6. Tessuto grande: nel 2% delle risposte

La ricerca ha rilevato che esiste una differenza nelle risposte in base al genere, con il 5G importante per il 5% degli uomini e il 3% delle donne. Dividendosi per classi sociali, le classi A e B collocano questa tecnologia nel 5% delle risposte, mentre tutte le altre sono nello stesso 4%.

Guardando l’intero sondaggio, le donne cambiano il primo posto e hanno risposto che la memoria del cellulare è più rilevante della capacità di elaborazione, mentre per il 17% di loro è rilevante la fotocamera, mentre per gli uomini questa percentuale scende all’11%.

Il sondaggio ha anche evidenziato che 90 milioni di vecchi telefoni cellulari sono con persone in Brasile, nel cassetto dell’utente. Questo numero può rivelare due punti importanti, entrambi legati all’insicurezza del nostro Paese, in quanto alcune persone utilizzano un dispositivo meno recente per effettuare operazioni bancarie e non portare in strada le app finanziarie.

Questi potrebbero essere i cellulari di Pix, mentre l’altro esempio è un dispositivo di backup in caso di furto. A proposito di sicurezza, l’indagine ha rilevato che l’83% dei brasiliani evita di usare il cellulare nei luoghi pubblici proprio a causa del rischio di furto.
